To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of South Wales in the interests of social welfare, with a view to improving the conditions of life of such inhabitants.

CVT is  a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee. Cambrian Lakeside Limited, established in 2013, is CVT’s trading arm,

A Company Limited by Guarantee, established to increase income generation and limit the charity’s exposure to commercial risk.

​

Any trading arm surplus is able to be transferred to support CVT’s charitable objects, vision, mission, aims etc.

Objects

To provide or assist in the provision of football and other amateur sporting facilities for young persons in full time education in South Wales thereby ensuring that due attention is given to the physical development and education of such young persons

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of South Wales in the interests of social welfare with a view to improving the conditions of life of such inhabitants

To advance environmental protection and improvements of the natural environment and the promotion of sustainable developments in South Wales

​

To prevent and relieve poverty by offering opportunities that address adverse social conditions, such as poor health and nutrition, and low achievement in education and other areas of human development in South Wales

To develop the Lakeside complex to provide important community infrastructure and

support community development, tourism and environmental objectives.

Mission

Provide football and other sporting and leisure facilities for young people and all

inhabitants of Rhondda Cynon Taf thereby ensuring that due attention is given to

physical development and to improving living conditions for the community as a

whole.
