The project aims to develop life skills that will help the individual in everyday life whether they live at home or in supported living. It is a 24 week programme that focuses on 4 different topics. These include health and well-being, history, community and nature. Sessions are differentiated to suit the needs of all participants and encourage completing tasks individually and in group settings.
We strongly believe in integration and working with community groups, especially those already in Cambrian Village Trust. The group regularly works with our Stalk to Fork project in the community garden. They participate in the maintenance of the garden, planting new seeds for summer produce and help with composting waste food from the cafe and their own lunch.
We have also worked with other community groups such as RHA Wales, Be Active and Play It Again Sport.
