Mini Explorers was set up in 2020 to encourage families to engage outdoors.
We have challenges, activities and incentives to create a positive atmosphere while learning outdoors. Sessions have been run online and in small groups, ideally targeting nursery to primary aged children.
During lockdown we created a Youtube channel and Facebook page for members of the Mini Explorers Club to display their photos and tales of where they explored.
We teamed up with Ramblers Cymru and sent out Activity Packs that included 12 weeks of outdoor activity ideas, games and challenges.
We also posted weekly videos through our Youtube channel, which included cooking ideas, arts and crafts, nature walks and many more.
